Is Kinetix a courier?

No. Kinetix is a shipping platform. We help you find and compare carriers, package forwarders and freight forwarders, who collect, carry and deliver goods under their own terms.

Can I buy shipping labels on Kinetix?

Not yet. Discounted labels from major carriers, with the customs form filled in, are being set up. Join the list to hear when they open.

How do freight quotes work?

Describe the cargo, route and timing on the freight page. We pass the request to freight forwarders that serve the route, and they reply to you directly. Any booking is between you and the forwarder you choose.

How does package forwarding work?

A forwarder gives you a US or UK address. Stores deliver to it, and the forwarder sends your parcels on to you, often combined into one box to save on international shipping. You pay the forwarder and any import charges at home. Compare forwarders.

Who pays import duty and tax?

Usually the recipient, when the carrier delivers, unless the goods are sent duties paid. Some countries, including the UK and Australia, make the seller collect VAT or GST at checkout on low-value goods instead. See the thresholds by country.

What is dimensional weight?

A pricing weight based on the space a parcel takes up: length × width × height divided by a carrier’s divisor. Carriers bill whichever is larger, the actual or the dimensional weight. Calculate it.

What is Kinetix Pro?

A monthly plan for sellers who ship often, launching with label buying: bulk labels from a spreadsheet, a saved address book and a lower fee per label, for $9.99 a month or $99 a year.

How do I list my courier or forwarding company?

Company listings are opening in the directory. Until then, contact us with your company name, country, services and website.
